About the Founder:
Emily Kelly
Triangle Birth Haven has been a deep rooted dream of mine since 2019 when I first became a doula. After my own birth experiences, I fell in love with birth work and felt a strong desire to serve women in the birth and postpartum field. From one disempowering, high intervention, minimally educated birth to an incredible, empowering, physiological birth - I discovered my passion for helping women be equipped, informed and confident about their choices in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. In 2020, I launched East Raleigh Doula Company as a way to do just that. Through this company, we have been able to support hundreds of women over the years and help them have positive and empowering birth and postpartum experiences.

It has been so rewarding.​
But something has been missing.​

My heart has always been to support ALL mothers. Not just ones who can afford our services. So, I decided to launch Triangle Birth Haven as a non-profit organization in January 2024 in hopes to provide quality maternity care support to every mother, regardless of age, race, language or income.
Every mother deserves to feel educated, supported and confident in their birth and postpartum journeys.​​
